For the love of Gaia

We have this ridiculous tendency to assign a single day of honor to the things we could be honoring every day. So how about we leave this post as a ongoing altar to earth and the consciousness of nature and please post your favorite photos of earth here in this discussion so as to be in gratitude and reminded in case we stared at our computers for too long how lucky we are to experience this beautiful being. You can also explain or tell the story of the photo. These photos were taken recently on my walks around the Wasatch Front an eastern chain of mountains that overlook the basin of Salt Lake. The recent snows and rain have made it look close to the British Isles of verdant grass rolling green oceanic swells. Jason said that lately the spring breezes are hold several mysterious invisible perfumes. Can you detect them?

  • A nest of Killdeer eggs.  Every morning the mother runs in front of my car as I pull into work.  The nest is in the gravel very close to the edge and by the street!
