Curious

I had a sit down with a psychic who had gone to school overseas and gone to school for a degree in the paranormal. She had extensive training. She told me my aura was unusually clean. She said she could sense great power from me. She mentioned karma, dharma, and monk. She said I should be more like a monk. To meditate and work towards enlightenment the ultimate goal of any lifetime. I am not completely sure what to make of everything. Why was it so unusual and surprising that my aura was so clear? Somehow I feel that is significant in some way.

  • Hey Trevor,

I don't think that psychic is very awake, as enlightenment is certainly not the pinnacle or goal of every lifetime AT ALL. It could be for some people, but it is interesting how much that is a persistent new ager myth that I think brings pressure and confusion to many seekers.  For many beings who have already experienced that in the gestalt of their totality of life experiences, for them the ultimate goal is to fulfill their character's story arc on earth and do what they came here to do which may or may not include developments of meditation etc. In a parallel life they may be experiencing enlightenment, box checked. Is that part of your character's story arc in this life? I don't know but it smells like generic pre packaged answer from her like Sam said.

Do you feel naturally attracted to the lifestyle she says you are supposed to follow? Usually, that lifepath is something that either you want badly or you are called to it very strongly and life generally steers you toward it whether you like it or not.   It's not something you casually go do IMO. I say, take all psychic information with a healthy helping of salt. Even psychics I trust, I do that. I am not saying that their data is not true or not helpful just be aware that it's not always the truth but possibly either what Sam said maybe ego stroking or what she thinks you want to hear. Sometimes it's less about the truth and sometimes it's what you are supposed to hear in the moment to cause you to think for yourself.

This is just my take, you have to feel what is right for you. I think you can incorporate monk like attributes into your world without joining a monastery. For many of us we actually do that in some ways.  Eat cleaner,  meditate, live a simple hermit like life in service to the world. So maybe the gist is correct but the interpretation is off?

I don't think pursuing enlightenment is that good of an idea if you want to pursue also a family or a career too. But I think that enlightenment achieves you, if it's a necessary part of your story.  Enlightenment means you essentially understand the falsity of all this and it's kind of like it takes away the realness of life. Your kids are not your kids, your significant other is not real, all the emotions and qualities that make your special are just programs. You see that and that can be very disappointing for people.

If you truly GET THAT, balls to bones and it STAYS with you you will know all is not real and it can be like well "what's the point of all this falsity?"  People think it's some eternal bliss state and it is not. It's just a way of seeing the world that you cannot UNSEE afterward. That's probably why some enlightened people just go live in a cave by themselves in the mountains. What's the point of saving a world that is not even there?

I don't think anyone should seek that unless they are mentally prepared for that reality and VERY few people on the planet are set up to be able to function in this world and maintain the enlightenment state.

Look at the masters who have. What do they do and how do they act? They are totally removed from the world and  they just observe as though it's a massive joke and know better than anyone that you can't become enlightened by your own volition. It either happens or it does not. A good example that comes to mind is UG Krishnamurti. Reading his work I really think he knew intimately what I am saying.

If you are the type to practice spiritual hygiene al then you may very well have a clear aura. Using alchemy can do that too.

4d and 5d

Hello, I have been wondering for awhile now why when you look into "new age" movements a hundred years ago and the way they talk about 4d is very similar to the way current movements or circles describe 5d when they discuss less dense experiences. …
