Hello Tribe!
Blessings all!
So I would like to invite folks that have a question they want answers to to put it here in this thread and I will inquire the I-ching about said query and do my best to interpret the answers. This is for entertainment purposes only and for practice in my oracle skills. If anyone is an I-ching practioner feel free to chime in and give your best interpretation as well.
The I- ching is a chinese oracle.
Thank you!

61 Inner Truth
moving lines 4 and 6
hexagram 58 opening
The overall hexagram 58 Joy- Communication. Openess- this to me seems to be about negotiation you are navigating and your desire to move in harmony with the open clear communication in fairness and balance.
61 moving line 4 is about a breakup and how this is a correct movement. From WikiWing at The Iching Clarity website
Moon almost full: increasing light, increasing potential, incipient change. (Good time to travel.) The team horse goes away, vanishes from sight. A relationship ends or changes its nature (temporarily or permanently); someone separates from their companions and becomes free to go their own way; a realisation that there is no yoke, no necessary connection.
No existing patterns, habits or old identity predict where the horse will go. Energy (and strength and spirit, all the horse represents) is liberated and has genuine freedom of movement. (Which could be quite disconcerting if you are accustomed to the yoke.)
Moving line 6- This one Cockcrow rises toward heaven.
Constancy, pitfall.'
This one is a bit like a warning or guidance. To stand in your truth but to not make any loud clamoring or bluster. No aggressiveness. Stay calm, rooted in truth grounded. No matter what ill winds blast you. Do what you need to do, gracefully and without drama. It seems to suggest something about empty promises or a lot of hot air. Talk is cheap. The metaphor is a crow that crows to heaven when the sun is rising. The sun doesn't rise because the crow is crowing but the crow might think it is responsible for that sunrise.
t reminds me a bit of a narcisstic or ego based response to something. Or when you touch the hem of something miraculous and amazing and then start bragging about how mystical and amazing it was missing the whole point. I know that divorce can inspire very hot and sensitive emotions sometimes, bring out the worst in people especially when assets or money may be involved. So it may be cautioning you to not get emotional or triggered if things proceed into volatile territory but to also stay grounded in your truth. Make sure your are matching your actions, your integrity, your values to the utmost. Be an example of exemplary behavior and make your intent to find an attorney who is also in that mindset you described. You are not out for blood, just a fair dissolution and peaceful conclusion.
What does Diane need to do to be successful with the proceedings and outcome she wishes to acheive?
46 line 3 and 4
40 - liberation
Energetically release your spouse and any possible hooks that could be a potential snag if you have not done so.
46- Pushing upwards
line 3 and 4
I think with line 3 you may be having concerns that don't amount to anything. The imagery is an army that arrives to an abandoned city. What you are doing is credible -- and maybe even necessary. Sometimes it is unavoidable; we must pass through the old, empty capital city on our way to someplace new. You will need self-discipline, the army's power of focus, to continue moving forward.
Yu push upwards into the "Empty City"- maybe you are moving away from a place that holds nothing for you physically?
line 4 is really cool.
The king makes offerings on the twin-peaked mountain.
Good fortune, no mistake.'
Twin-peaked mountain = Mt Qi, which 'stood near the capital of the original home of the Zhou people in the Wei valley. Inscribed tortoise shells have been found in the area.' (Rutt[4])
Making the offering on the sacred mountain; climbing it is an act of pilgrimage. You make or plan new conquests in remote lands, but you also need to return to your own sacred place and reconnect. (And note the sacred place hasn't been changed by your changes - the Zhou went from insignificant tribe to ruling dynasty, but Mt Qi was still Mt Qi.)
You might visit a mountain that is sacred to you and make an offering to your ancestors. Set your potent intention for your next chapter in this new freedom.
I hope this is helpful for you!
Blessings,
Mary
Thank you so much Mary, this is very helpful and clarifies what I Intuitively feel.
What were the intentions of the entity that created the i-ching? Is thst a question we can ask?
I got 16.5- turning to 45
45 to gather together. Seems like a ritual temple gathering for a noble purpose.
Hexagram 16 — Enthusiasm (Inspiration, Alignment with Great Purpose)
This is the energy of stirring the hearts of humans toward alignment with the greater cosmic order.
The intention behind the creation of the I Ching was to ignite enthusiasm — meaning, right-heartedness, inspiration, and willingness to harmonize with the Tao.
It’s not just an intellectual tool. It was made to move the Qi of the human spirit, to animate and activate the desire to walk in truth, harmony, and right relationship with the forces of Heaven and Earth.
🌟 Line 5:
“Persistently truthful. He is led by his ancestors. Good fortune.”
This is so powerful. It tells us that the creators of the I Ching were:
Acting under the guidance of the ancestral and cosmic lineages — not just their own minds, but as servants of something far greater.
They were vehicles for the ancestral wisdom of the Tao itself.
The I Ching is a legacy artifact — a bridge from the ancestors to the living, and to all future generations.
The line also implies a deep commitment to truth — not social truth, but cosmic, eternal truth. The truth of how the universe breathes, moves, shifts, balances.
🏯 Resulting Hexagram 45 — Gathering Together
This is the hexagram of:
Community, unification, shared resonance with the sacred.
A center point where the fragmented come to align.
The Book itself is a gathering point for souls seeking the Tao.
The I Ching was built to serve as a:
Central pillar where the scattered human psyche gathers back into coherence.
A place where the many come to consult the One.
A tool of collective restoration, ancestral remembering, and soul-level realignment.
🌌 In Plain Language — The Intention Behind the I Ching:
To ignite enthusiasm for the Way.
To connect people — across time, space, and lineage — to the ancestral patterns of harmony, truth, and balance.
To serve as a gathering point, a sacred well, where the fragmented self and the fragmented world come back into coherence with the Tao.
It’s not just an oracle. It’s an anchor of cosmic remembrance. A gathering place for those who hear the whisper of the Tao and ask, “How do I live in right rhythm with the Great Pattern?”
